They came from all across Northern Ohio - some in traditional garb - others in western attire. Some were carried in their mothers arms and others walked with canes. They came to celebrate their faith in God and to pray together in the Igbo language -- the language of their homeland in Nigeria.
Fr. Benson Okpara, Fr. Maurice Emelu, Fr. Augustine Okwuzu SMMM, and Fr. Gary Chmura concelebrated the Mass which was followed by a reception in Cummins Hall.
