Gustave Pekoc died at University Hospital on June 15 at 3pm, the Feast of the Sacred Heart. Gus, the son of Roy and Jean and the brother of Sam, was born with a condition called Noonans Syndrome which made his growth and development difficult. Still, he struggled to overcome all odds and to live each day of his life to the fullest. Among his many activities he served, as long as he was able, as an altar server at OLP.

The Funeral Mass for Gus will be celebrated on Thursday, June 21 at 11am.

May Gus and all of our faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen
